Are you an organized, detail-oriented professional with experience supporting litigation attorneys? Our client is seeking a Litigation Legal Secretary to join our team and provide high-level administrative and legal support in a fast-paced environment.
This is an in-office position. Hours are 9:00 to 6:00.
Firm offers great benefits with free parking.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, format, and file legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence (state and federal courts).

Manage attorney calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate court appearances and deadlines.

Maintain case files (electronic and hard copy) and ensure accurate record-keeping.

Proofread and edit documents for accuracy, grammar, and compliance with court requirements.

Assist with trial preparation, including assembling binders, exhibits, and witness lists.

Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel in a professional and courteous manner.

Perform general administrative duties such as billing, time entry, and expense reporting.
Qualifications:

Minimum 3+ years of litigation secretary or paralegal experience (law firm experience required).

Strong knowledge of federal and state court filing procedures (including e-filing).

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software.

Excellent grammar, spelling, and proofreading skills.

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively under deadlines.
