Job DescriptionGrowing National Food Distributor is looking for an Assistant Route Sales Delivery Representative. This is a great opportunity that offers growth!! You will be delivering and stocking for various stores in the Albany, New York area.
We are looking for someone that is eager to grow with us. We are a growing at a fast pace and looking for someone to help take us to the next level.
You will be paid weekly based on a 40 hour week. Occasional overtime is available.
Summary
As an Assistant Route Sales Representative, you will be essential delivering outstanding customer service while managing a designated route. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will utilize your core skills in driving, communication, and merchandising to build strong relationships with clients.
Responsibilities
- Assist Drivers' with designated routes to deliver products to customers in a timely manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
- Manage inventory and merchandising at customer locations to ensure product availability.
- Maintain accurate records of sales and deliveries, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management to optimize route efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven driving skills with a valid driver's license
- Strong customer service and communication abilities
- Experience in sales and merchandising a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and maintain organization
- Familiarity with pricing strategies and upselling techniques a plus
- Basic math skills for handling transaction
