The Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of facility equipment and infrastructure across various sites in the United States. This position is responsible for performing routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to minimize downtime and maintain safety standards. The Maintenance Technician collaborates closely with other team members and management to prioritize maintenance tasks and implement preventive maintenance programs. By proactively identifying potential issues and addressing them promptly, the technician helps extend the lifespan of equipment and supports overall operational productivity. This role requires a hands-on approach, technical expertise, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar role.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between sites as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical certification or vocational training in maintenance, electrical, HVAC, or related fields.
  • Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards such as OSHA.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or on-call shifts.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery, HVAC systems, electrical panels, plumbing, and other facility equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing malfunctions promptly to reduce operational disruptions.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory to ensure compliance and facilitate future servicing.
  • Collaborate with management and other departments to schedule maintenance activities with minimal impact on operations.
  • Respond to emergency maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues efficiently to restore functionality as quickly as possible.

Proficiency in electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems allows the technician to perform diverse maintenance tasks and ensure operational continuity.
