Qualifications:

  • Must hold an active GaPSC SPED Consultative P-12 Teaching Endorsement
  • Proven ability to collaborate in co-teaching/inclusion settings
  • Experience supporting students with Autism, OHI, SLD, MID, or EBD preferred
  • Strong classroom management and behavior intervention skills
  • Ability to work full-time: 7:45 am–3:45 pm, Monday–Friday

Responsibilities:

  • Provide co-teaching support in Math and Science for 6th grade students (approx. 10–12 per caseload)
  • Deliver collaborative instruction in ELA and Science for 7th/8th graders (approx. 10–12 students per grade level)
  • Implement behavior plans as needed; most students are well-suited for inclusion
  • Promote an engaging and supportive learning environment
  • Regularly communicate with faculty and families
