Job DescriptionLHH is helping our client to find a Systems focused person who has some understanding of the Accounting/Finance functions. This role is focused on implementation, optimization, administration, and reporting from multiple software platforms.

Our ideal candidate would have started their career from something Financial, then found that Technology is more interesting and has moved into a role more based in IT. We will also look at those in IT who have been a business partner to Accounting/Finance, or to people within Accounting and Finance teams who have had a strength in Systems.

This role is in Portland, OR and is only open to those who would live here, working hybrid. This role is not available to be worked from a remote site.

Position: Financial Systems Analyst
Compensation: $95-110K

Job in a nutshell:

  • Key player in the implementation of various ancillary systems used by the Finance Department (does not include main ERP system)
    • Some of these are implemented, a few are nearing the end of the implementation phase, one is at the beginning of implementation phase
    • Build out Dashboards, Reports development on activity
  • Set up best in class processes for use of various systems to cut down time, data validation, use of data, etc
  • Own the administration of 6-7 software platforms
  • Ensure the efficiency, accuracy and reliability of primary financial and controls systems
  • Establish and maintain business processes and controls for systems and system integrations
  • Will partner with many parts of the business

We are looking for:

  • BS in Accounting, Finance, General Business, MIS, IT or closely related field
  • Understanding of Accounting department, what they do and how they use systems, basic understanding of dr/cr and how data moves through accounting systems
  • 4+ years of experience in Financial Transformation or Systems Implementations
  • Proficiency using MS Excel, SQL, VBA, MS PowerPoint, Project Management software, MS SharePoint and Visio

Pay Details: $90,000.00 to $110,000.00 per year
