**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a vigilant Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The Security Officer will be responsible for monitoring surveillance equipment, checking for unauthorized persons or vehicles, and responding to alarms or incidents as needed.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Proven experience as a Security Officer or relevant position
- Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety
- Excellent surveillance and observation skills
- Strong communication abilities
**Responsibilities:**
- Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a security presence
- Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people in the property
- Investigate disturbances
- Create reports of daily activities
- Conduct security checks over a specified area
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Certification in security training
- Prior experience in customer service
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively
