ROLE SUMMARY:
The Technical Solutions Architect Senior is responsible for the design, development, and deployment of cutting-edge platform solutions. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the architecture aligns with the business objectives and technical requirements. The Platform Architect will leverage modern technologies to build scalable, reliable, and high-performance systems.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement robust, scalable architectures and align with the Well-Architected Framework.
- Guide development teams in building and deploying applications on Azure.
- Design systems for scalability and performance.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance platform components.
- Plan and execute data migration from on-premises or other sources to Azure.
- Conduct cost analysis from Azure deployments to ensure efficient resource utilization.
- Continuously monitor the performance, cost and efficiency of cloud solutions.
- Recommend strategies for optimization and cost-effectiveness.
- Integrate cybersecurity measures, enforce security best practices, define governance framework.
- Present solutions to clients in workshops and demos.
Success factors:
- Strong experience in core technologies like Compute, network, storage and security.
- Strong experience of Azure App Service, Azure Kubernetes Service, VMs.
- Deep understanding of Azure Virtual Network, Azure Firewall, and DDOS protection.
- Experience in Azure Security Centre, Azure Active Directory, IAM.
- Strong experience in Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data bricks.
- Experienced in Azure DevOps for Azure Automation, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experienced in Azure Monitor, Azure Log Analytics, Application Insights.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. (Master's degree preferred).
- 15+ years of experience in software architecture and development.
- Proficiency and certifications in Azure and other cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud.
- Understanding and experience in data engineering, automation, cybersecurity, and systems integration required.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
