Project Manager Overview: A market-leading architectural metal cladding and fabrication company seeks a detail oriented and customer-focused Project Manager to manage assigned projects from award through final delivery. This role coordinates all activities related to project planning, scheduling, technical review, procurement, vendor coordination, and customer communication.

Project Manager Pay : $25-35/hour DOE

Project Manager Shift: 7:30 - 4:30 pm M-F (Rogers, MN)

Project Manager Primary Duties:

  • Manage multiple projects to ensure on-time completion while meeting customer, engineering, drafting, and production needs.
  • Own end-to-end project accountability, including definition and control of project scope, schedule, and budget, ensuring commitments are clearly documented, risks are proactively managed, changes are formally approved, and projects are delivered on time and within financial targets.
  • Review and analyze blueprints, specifications, proposals, and technical documents to ensure accurate fabrication planning.
  • Validate project scope and align requirements with Americlad’s manufacturing capabilities, lead times, and material availability.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules in coordination with the Production Scheduler and internal teams.
  • Obtain bids from suppliers, finishing vendors, and subcontractors; place purchase orders for materials and outsourced components.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Estimating, Drafting, Engineering, and Production to ensure seamless communication and handoffs.
  • Serve as the primary customer point of contact for updates, submittals, schedules, change orders, and issue resolution.
  • Maintain proactive stakeholder (internal partners & external clients) communication regarding project status, risks, and milestones to ensure alignment and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate and timely project documentation, correspondence, and updates in the ERP & project / workflow systems.
  • Monitor project performance and escalate technical issues or delays to the Director of Project Management.
  • Support value-engineering efforts to optimize manufacturability, cost, and lead time.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of project management experience in manufacturing, commercial construction, or similar industries.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong customer interaction and communication skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD experience helpful but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to comprehend technical concepts.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug test.
