R&D Project Manager
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced R&D Project Manager to lead our research and development projects in the food manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will drive innovation through new product development and reformulations while ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage R&D projects from conception through to launch.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new product ideas and reformulations.
- Oversee the execution of line extensions and ensure they meet quality and regulatory standards.
- Conduct research and analysis to support product development initiatives.
- Utilize ERP systems to track project progress and resource allocation.
- Engage with co-packing partners to facilitate product development and production.
- Monitor industry trends and advancements in food science and engineering to inform project direction.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Food Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field; Masters degree preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in R&D project management within the food manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience in new product development (NPD) and reformulations.
- Strong understanding of food chemistry and food engineering principles.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and co-packing processes.
- Excellent project management, organizational, and leadership skills.
