Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct baseball practices and training sessions tailored to various skill levels
- Teach fundamental baseball techniques, rules, and strategies in an engaging manner
- Foster a positive team environment that encourages sportsmanship and teamwork
- Monitor player progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance performance
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all activities and games
- Manage behavior and promote good conduct among players during practices and competitions
- Coordinate with parents, school staff, or community organizations related to team activities
- Organize game schedules, equipment management, and team logistics
Skills
- Experience in sports coaching, particularly baseball or related sports such as basketball or cheerleading
- Background in teaching physical education or working with children in childcare or youth programs
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques to maintain discipline and focus among young athletes
- Skills in teaching fundamental athletic skills such as climbing, swimming, martial arts (karate, judo), or gymnastics are a plus
- Experience working with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
- Ability to motivate and inspire children while ensuring a safe environment
- Familiarity with health clubs or gym settings is advantageous
- Strong communication skills for effective instruction and collaboration with parents and staff
