We are seeking a motivated Associate Broker to join our dynamic, growing team! This role is a rewarding way to get immediate field experience and mentorship within an upbeat, tight-knit culture.
This role offers the opportunity to work leads without any upfront marketing or desk fees.
Please note that this is a stepping stone to becoming a Junior Broker. The ideal candidate will possess great interpersonal and communication skills, a commitment to providing outstanding customer service, and a willingness to learn and grow alongside the firm. They will be well-organized, driven for success, have strong integrity, and hold high expectations for themselves and others.
Compensation:
$45,000 + commission
Responsibilities:
- Support higher-level brokers by being on site for appointments (i.e. showings, media, inspections).
- Collaborate with other real estate professionals, including agents, appraisers, inspectors, and lenders.
- Work closely with others at Vesta as needed to support the goals of the firm.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Manage and update your CRM (FollowUpBoss) to maintain accurate client records, handle client communications, and follow up with leads.
- Continue to build skills and knowledge in the real estate industry by asking questions, attending regular trainings/1-on-1s, and attending educational events.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable fair housing regulations and real estate laws.
Qualifications:
- Ability to reliably commute to our office in Bucktown, Chicago.
- Available to work weekdays and weekends.
- Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize workload and handle multiple clients.
- Must have a high school diploma/GED or higher.
- Tech-literate and resourceful; must possess a basic understanding of Microsoft and Google Suite, and can learn our CRM and other platforms/systems we use.
- Previous experience in the real estate industry is a plus.
- Previous experience in leasing/rentals is a plus.
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus.
