Job DescriptionRobotics Engineer - RemoteAs a Senior Robotics Engineer on our Swarm Robotics team, you’ll develop advanced algorithms for multi-vehicle coordination, real-time perception, and dynamic path planning. Your expertise in multi-robot communication and control will drive intelligent swarm behavior. This role requires strong cross-functional collaboration, clear technical communication, and a passion for iterative, mission-driven development.Responsibilities:
- Design and refine real-time algorithms for perception, localization, and motion planning
- Explore and prototype control strategies for multi-aircraft systems, emphasizing inter-vehicle communication and coordination
- Develop and manage simulation frameworks to validate autonomous behaviors
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to embed robotic capabilities into aerial platforms
- Engage in design reviews, offering and incorporating feedback to strengthen technical solutions
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree – Ph.D. preferreed in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics)
- 4+ years of professional experience in robotics engineering
- Proven background in developing multi-robot communication systems and coordination algorithms
- Proven hands-on experience with robotics systems, control theory, or dynamic modeling
- Proficient in C++, Python, and MATLAB/Octave
- Strong communicator with the ability to clearly document and explain complex technical concepts
- Experience with flying platforms using PX4 or ArduPlane integrated with ROS is a plus
- Willing to travel
Pay Rate:
- $135-175K
