We’re seeking a dedicated SLP to provide in-person services at elementary schools near the Carbondale, PA area. Working approximately 15 hours per week across two days at each school, you’ll enjoy a manageable caseload with dedicated time allotted for essential paperwork. The role welcomes both seasoned SLPs (CCC) and those working toward their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), making this an exciting option for both experienced clinicians and emerging professionals eager to gain valuable hands-on experience with pediatric populations.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) to practice as an SLP in Pennsylvania
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but strong CFY candidates are also encouraged
- Previous experience in school settings or with pediatric populations highly valued
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organization skills
- Able to work onsite; remote services are not considered for this role
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to elementary students
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with school and district policies
- Allocate session and paperwork time efficiently to ensure student progress
