J. Francis Company is seeking a Construction Project Coordinator to support our Production team and play a key role in the successful execution of high-quality residential remodeling projects. This is a new, full-time position created to support continued company growth and evolving operational needs.

About the Role
The Construction Project Coordinator provides administrative, logistical, and coordination support to the Production Manager, Project Managers, Project Developers, and company leadership. This role touches every phase of the construction process—from trade partner coordination and material tracking to jobsite setup, documentation, and internal systems.
You’ll spend most of your time in the office, with regular interaction with job sites, vendors, and trade partners. Over time, this role offers opportunities for expanded responsibility and growth, including potential project management support for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
Trade Partner Development & Coordination
· Support recruiting, onboarding, documentation, and ongoing relationships with trade partners
· Assist with Trade Partner events, including planning, invitations, and logistics
· Maintain trade partner agreements, contact information, and databases
Production & Project Support
· Provide administrative support to Production and Project Management teams
· Assist with subcontractor contract execution and material ordering
· Create and maintain job binders, jobsite documentation, and photo records
· Support jobsite safety procedures, signage, and setup
Receiving & Materials Management
· Receive, inspect, label, and track material deliveries
· Coordinate returns, damaged materials, and vendor credits
· Update material tracking systems and notify internal teams
Shop, Equipment & Facility Coordination
· Help maintain clean, organized receiving and storage areas
· Coordinate equipment, tool, and facility maintenance
· Assist with repairs, building projects, and scheduled system maintenance
Operational & Administrative Support
· Manage job signage, key boxes, vehicle tracking, and inventory databases
· Assist with company vehicle administration and audits
· Support office staff as needed and assist with special projects
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or related field preferred, or 3+ years of relevant construction experience
· Ability to read construction drawings and build schedules from start to finish
· Solid understanding of residential remodeling processes, codes, and safety standards
· Strong attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Highly organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); scheduling software experience required
· Experience with Buildertrend, CoConstruct, JobTread, or similar platforms is a plus
· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Work Environment & Schedule
· In-office position (no remote option)
· Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
· Approximately 85% office / 15% field time
· Occasional extended hours during peak project needs
Compensation & Benefits
· Salary range: $55,000–$70,000+ (commensurate with experience)
