Schedule: Full-Time | 24/7 On-Call Rotation | 30–40% Overnight Travel
Pay Rate: $23.00–$26.00/hour

Overview
OWL Services is seeking a Field Service Technician to support installation, maintenance, and repair of electro-mechanical equipment across customer sites. This role is ideal for a mechanically inclined professional who enjoys troubleshooting, working independently, and delivering high-quality field service.
Technicians play a critical role in ensuring operational reliability of equipment such as POS systems, alarms, and security devices, while maintaining strong safety standards and professional service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, inspect, repair, and replace electro-mechanical equipment
- Diagnose issues and implement effective, timely solutions
- Service equipment such as cash registers, coin changers, alarms, and POS systems
- Complete service requests and maintenance tasks professionally and efficiently
- Review work orders, manuals, and technical drawings
- Utilize testing devices, hand tools, and power tools
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation
- Travel overnight 30–40% for service, installations, and upgrades
- Maintain accurate service documentation using company systems and mobile tools
Requirements
Must Have
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and solve problems effectively
- Strong attention to safety and adherence to protocols
- Willingness to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation
- Ability to travel 30–40% overnight
- Good driving record
- Proficiency with computers and smartphones
Nice to Have
- Experience with POS systems (Verifone, NCR)
- Experience working with alarm systems
- Experience troubleshooting electro-mechanical equipment
- Ability to complete service requests professionally and efficiently
- Experience reviewing work orders, manuals, and drawings
- Experience using testing devices, hand tools, and power tools
- Willingness to support installations/upgrades in other regions
