SDM Company is seeking a Parts & Warehouse Manager who understands that inventory control drives productivity and profitability. This is not a clerical role. This is an operational leadership position responsible for keeping technicians moving and controlling parts costs.
The Parts & Warehouse Manager is accountable for inventory accuracy, purchasing discipline, vendor performance, and warehouse efficiency. This role directly impacts workflow speed, cost control, and overall company performance.

Core Responsibilities
- Maintain strict inventory accuracy and perform regular cycle counts
- Manage purchasing to prevent shortages and eliminate overstock
- Control parts flow to support shop and field technicians without delay
- Verify correct parts before issue to avoid rework and downtime
- Track backorders and proactively communicate status
- Process warranty claims, returns, and core credits efficiently
- Maintain a clean, organized, professional warehouse environment
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and eliminate waste
- Inventory discrepancies are kept to a minimum
- Technicians receive parts quickly and correctly
- No workflow delays due to preventable parts issues
- Strong vendor relationships and competitive pricing
- Warehouse remains orderly and inspection-ready at all times
Qualifications
- Proven experience in parts management, warehouse leadership, or heavy equipment service
- Strong organizational discipline and attention to detail
- Experience with inventory and work order systems
- Ability to prioritize under pressure
- Clear, direct communicator
- Forklift experience preferred
