Shift: Weekend Warrior – Days
Shift Time: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Schedule: 12-hour shifts
Hours: 36 hours per week
Start Date: Monday or Wednesday starts only

Pay Rate: $20.00 – $24.00 per hour

Position Summary

We are seeking experienced Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents in a Long-Term Care (LTC) / nursing home setting.

This is a Weekend Warrior position requiring 12-hour day shifts. The CNA will work closely with nursing staff and the healthcare team to ensure residents receive safe, respectful, and quality care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility.
• Take and accurately document vital signs as required.
• Safely reposition and transfer residents.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
• Observe residents and report changes in condition to nursing staff.
• Follow facility policies, care plans, and infection-control procedures.
• Communicate professionally and respectfully with residents, families, and the healthcare team.
• Support residents with daily care needs while maintaining their dignity, privacy, and comfort.

Requirements

• Current CNA certification required.
• Previous Long-Term Care / nursing home experience preferred.
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts.
• Weekend availability required.
• Must be able to work the designated Weekend Warrior schedule.
• NE DHHS processing is currently delayed; candidates should be prepared for potential credentialing/licensure delays.
• Monday or Wednesday starts only.
• Overtime is not guaranteed.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-care skills.
