Job DescriptionManufacturing Maintenance Mechanic

Pay Rate: $39.76/hr base + 10% shift differential
Shift: Tuesday–Saturday 2:30 PM–11:00 PM; overtime may be required.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and independent Manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic to provide expert troubleshooting and repair support for our production equipment. This temporary position will focus on diagnosing and resolving a wide array of machine issues—including electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, thermal, and controls-related problems—across a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consistently follow all safety policies and procedures, including Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO), arc flash protocols, and stop work authority
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and install production machinery and related subsystems
  • Respond promptly to emergency machine breakdowns to minimize downtime
  • Complete assigned preventive maintenance tasks—including documentation—within required timeframes
  • Assist with spare parts inventory management; may involve locating and ordering parts, maintaining records, and ensuring availability for production machinery
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to support production and business objectives
  • Communicate clearly using written, verbal, non-verbal, and visual methods
  • Adhere to all quality and compliance standards to ensure the safety and effectiveness of manufactured products
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3–4 years of hands-on experience in advanced troubleshooting and repair of production equipment in a 24/7 manufacturing environment
  • Strong independent problem-solving skills and customer service focus for supporting the production floor
  • Ability to maintain high standards of performance and attention to detail in unsupervised situations
  • Experience using PC-based systems in a networked environment; working knowledge of Windows OS, Word, Excel, and CMMS programs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with PLC, computer, and software troubleshooting and corrections
  • Ability to use CAD software for viewing and editing technical drawings and schematics
  • Experience with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)
  • Previous experience in medical device manufacturing
