Job Description

Our client, a litigation law firm in Troy, MI is seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant. The Legal Administrative Assistant will provide support to Attorney’s and Paralegals. The Legal Assistant will be the link between attorney’s, clients, courts and the general public.

The annual salary range is between $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 depending on skills and experience. The work schedule is Monday - Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

This is a direct hire opportunity.

Legal Assistant Job Duties:

Document production and compiling exhibits
Maintain and update attorney’s calendar
Circuit and District court e-filings
Take and transcribe dictation
Other administrative tasks as needed

Legal Assistant Job Requirements:

3+ years of recent law experience in Litigation with a heavy preference on insurance defense
Intermediate knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook.
Experience with e-filing and filing directly with the courts.
