Exciting opportunities are available for experienced special education professionals passionate about supporting middle school students. Two full-time roles are open for dedicated educators to provide vital services in a supportive and collaborative school environment. Each position spans either one or two campuses and requires an on-site presence, allowing you to build meaningful connections with your students and colleagues.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Active Colorado Department of Education Teacher License with Special Education Generalist Endorsement (Ages 5–21)
- Experience working with middle school populations, including mild-moderate or significant support needs (SSN)
- Ability to adapt instruction for individual learning requirements and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication, record-keeping, and classroom management skills
- Completion of timely credentialing processes, including background checks and fingerprinting, as required—ensuring a safe and secure learning environment
Responsibilities:
- Deliver differentiated instruction and support for either mild-moderate learners (Learning Specialist) or students with significant cognitive and/or communicative disabilities (SSN Teacher)
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in alignment with student needs and educational best practices
- Monitor progress, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with families, specialists, and faculty
- Provide support across assigned schools, adapting to unique campus cultures and student groups
- Engage in professional development and embrace a culture of continuous improvement
