Job DescriptionMaintenance Mechanic - 2nd and 3rd shift available

The Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing plant and production equipment. They will also performance preventative maintenance and complete various work orders.

Responsibilities:

- Maintain and service mechanical equipment, machinery, and related components

- Complete various work orders and inspection reports; accurately document labor hours and other required administrative records

- Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively as required

- Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and facility systems

- Conduct routine equipment inspections as part of preventive maintenance programs and assess repair requests

- Identify required replacement parts and initiate purchase orders as needed

- Oversee the installation, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and quality

- Ensure all work complies with company policies, food safety standards, and applicable regulatory requirements

- Schedule and coordinate equipment installation support and service activities

- Maintain accountability for food safety, food quality, and regulatory compliance within the scope of the role

Requirements:

- 3+ years of working in an industrial/manufacturing environment

- Mechanical, Pneumatics, and Electrical knowledge

- Experience with hand and power tools

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
