Average weekly pay: about $1,520-$1,540.

PAY BREAKDOWN

- Mileage: $0.50-$0.54 per mile

- Live stop: $51-$53 per stop

- Detention: $15/hour after the first hour

- Trainee pay: $225/day

- Safety training: $20/hour

- Holiday pay: $250/day

- $5,000 limited-time bonus

- Activity-based pay plan

Local live haul, picking up live chickens from farms and delivering to the Millsboro facility. Flatbed trailer. 3-4 inbound loads a day, 15-20 stops a week. Daily home time. Automatic and manual daycabs (must be able to drive the assigned truck). Daycabs stay at the yard during time off. Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's are off.

IMPORTANT: This is a live haul, not dry van. You will strap chicken cages to the flatbed at the farms with a cheater bar and make sure the load is secured. Farm roads include grades, bumps, and ditches.

HIRING AREA: Live within 40 miles of ZIP 19966 (Millsboro, DE). Operating area is within 300 miles of Millsboro.

REQUIREMENTS

- 21+ with valid Class A CDL

- 3 months verifiable tractor-trailer experience

- Comfortable with live haul, cage strapping, and farm driving

- No DUI in the last 5 years

- Pass hair and urine drug testing
