Manufacturing – Systems Supervisor

We are in need of a qualified individual to work in the Manufacturing Department. This position reports to the Manager / Director of Manufacturing. Primarily responsible for the ERP system as it pertains to the manufacturing department. Establish and advance member skills and teamwork through training and education. Able to resolve issues that affect inventories, product structures, back flushing, part and production line setups. Ability to work with other departments in setups and troubleshooting issues. Must be able to communicate effectively with team members and other members of the organization. Implement and advance SRK-OH philosophy and uphold rules, regulations and policies in a fair and equitable manner. This position requires the ability to fill in for production supervisors if absent.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Develop, maintain, and monitor production schedules to meet customer demands while maximizing operational efficiency.

· Collaborate with inventory, procurement, and production teams to align resources and meet production goals.

· Utilize our ERP system (IFS) to manage production plans and materials.

· Analyze production data and implement strategies to optimize output and reduce delays.

· Maintain and report on production KPIs and suggest improvements to streamline processes.

· Ensure compliance with Lean Manufacturing principles and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

· Troubleshoot production issues related to scheduling and logistics, ensuring minimal impact on timelines.

· Create and share information of KPI’s of information found in Qlik Sense, IoT platform or other software recording systems we use.

· Present to Directors, Supervisors and other Core team members on Daily Reports for efficiencies and how to reduce costs.

· Collaborate with other Manufacturing and Production Planning Team members to go over forecasting for lines over capacities and how to adapt or change their production plan to complete orders.

· Strong leadership and time-management skills.

· Able to speak in front of an audience of less than 30 people.

· Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

· Occasional Travel (1-2 times a year).

· Collaborate with Japanese Coordinators on Manufacturing initiatives assigned by Headquarters

· Assist with and facilitate Kaizen activities for department collaborating with Team Leaders, Team Leaders, and Associates

· Other projects and tasks as required or assigned.

· Must be able to work quarterly and yearly end inventories that are performed on weekends.

Minimum Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

· Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel, for data analysis and reporting.

· Familiarity with ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and MRP principles.

· Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Requirements:

· Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, APICS CPIM).

· Experience in inventory management, forecasting, and project management.

· 2+ years of experience in production planning or scheduling within a manufacturing environment.

· Experience with Business Intelligence software (such as PowerBI, Qlik, or Tableau is a plus).

Salary is dependent upon academic background, experience and accomplishments. This position is not eligible for overtime pay.
