Pay: $29.00 - $30.00 per hour

Job Brief
We are looking for a skilled Maintenance workers to perform upkeep tasks as described below.
You will be responsible for applying basic fixes to equipment and building systems and ensuring facilities are functional as well as able to perform manual labor along with run light equipment.

Being reliable with a keen eye for detail and safety is the first step to getting this job. The ideal candidate will have experience and solid technical knowledge. You must also possess manual dexterity and physical stamina.

Requirements and Skills:
● Proven experience in job duties or other similar position
● Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical systems
● Experience using hand and electrical tools
● Ability to read and follow directions
● Notable communication and interpersonal skills
● Physical stamina and dexterity
● High school diploma or equivalent

Maintenance Worker Responsibilities Include:
● Summer: General lawn care, mowing, watering, weed whacking, leaf blowing
● Winter: Snow removal, shoveling and blowing walk ways, snow plowing and sanding
● General building maintenance: light carpentry, minor electrical, mud/tape paint, ceiling tile replacement, minor flooring replacing carpet squares and VCT replacement, minor roof patching

● Special event set ups: tents, chairs, and tables
● Tenant improvements: above trades and system furniture removal/demolition
● Preventative maintenance checks: HVAC, Fire Extinguisher, Boilers, Hot Water

Heaters, Circulation Pumps, Emergency Exit Signage and Lights
● Electrical: changing ballast, installing new LED lights, replacing outlets
● Lawn Care: general lawn maintenance, seasonal seeding, watering, and mowing

Additional Responsibilities:
● Perform minor fixes such as repairing broken locks. Repair door closures.

Replace switches.
● Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues
● Install appliances and equipment
● Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, light ballast, interior and exterior lights.
● Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g. ventilation)
● Check functionality of safety systems (e.g. fire extinguishers, eye wash stations and emergency lights)
● Collaborate with workers and other professionals during renovations
● Report to a facilities or maintenance manager with any issues

● Carpentry/ light framing, mud tape paint
● Plumbing/ general maintenance on plugged drains etc.
● Hanging pictures, furniture moves
● Other duties as assigned or required
● Willingness to take on other duties as assigned and or required
