JOB DESCRIPTION
Do you enjoy working with children and have a passion for fitness, movement, or tumbling? Join Bright Stars Academy as aGymnastics Instructorand help children build strength, coordination, and confidence through our skill-based gymnastics programs. You'll guide students through structured lessons that emphasize safety, fun, and skill progressionall in a supportive and upbeat environment. No prior gymnastics experience is requiredwe provide full training!
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Lead age-appropriate gymnastics classes based on Bright Stars structured curriculum
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all students through supervision and proper spotting techniques
- Create a fun, encouraging, and respectful class environment that motivates children to learn and grow
- Set up and take down stations/equipment safely and efficiently
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, co-workers, and parents
- Maintain a clean and organized gym space
- Attend ongoing training and development sessions
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum:
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Available 23 days per week (3.0 to 5-hour shifts) Availability during our peak hours which include weekday afternoons/evenings and weekend mornings
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and open to learning new skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and actively participate in physical instruction
- Willingness to complete CPR/AED certification and pass a background check.
Preferred:
- Prior experience working with children in any setting
- Background in gymnastics, dance, cheerleading, or athletics
