Position Overview
The Director of IT will lead the strategic transformation initiatives utilizing SAP technologies to improve business processes and drive operational efficiency. This role will be pivotal in aligning SAP solutions with business objectives, overseeing implementation projects, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic direction and execution of SAP business transformation initiatives across the organization.
- Manage the implementation of SAP S/4HANA and other SAP solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies using SAP technologies.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the IT team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence in SAP practices.
- Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and timelines for SAP transformation projects.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in SAP implementations.
- Act as a key liaison between business stakeholders and IT to ensure that SAP solutions meet business needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in IT management with a focus on SAP solutions, including SAP S/4HANA.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale SAP implementation projects.
- Strong understanding of ERP systems and business processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to influence and drive change at all levels of the organization.
