LHH is looking for a Litigation Legal Assistant opportunity with a well-established defense firm in Pittsburgh. This is a full-time, on-site position supporting three attorneys. The attorneys work in-office five days a week, but there is flexibility for occasional WFH on doctor appointment days.
Role Highlights

Salary: $60,000 – $80,000, based on experience

Focus: Defense litigation only – plaintiff experience will not be considered

Key Responsibilities

Draft, format, proofread, and finalize legal correspondence and pleadings

File pleadings in state and federal courts (Appearances, Answers, Motions, etc.)

Manage calendars for trials, arbitrations, depositions, and hearings

Handle file openings, conflict checks, and litigation profile updates

Maintain attorney calendars, travel arrangements, and expense reports

Review and edit prebills per client guidelines

Manage incoming mail, time entry, and vendor invoice processing
Ideal Candidate Will Have:

5–10 years of litigation defense experience

Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal court rules

Experience supporting attorneys through trial prep and courtroom proceeding

Excellent writing, proofreading, and organizational skills
-
Familiarity with iManage and Prolaw (preferred)

Professional communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year
