Infant Toddler Preschool PreK Teachers are responsible for nurturing the development and education of young children in early childhood settings. They create a safe, supportive, and engaging environment tailored to the unique needs of infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children, typically working with class sizes of under 10 children. These teachers support the growth of social, emotional, cognitive, and motor skills while fostering a love of learning.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers
- Monitor each child's development and provide individualized support
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment suitable for young children
- Engage children in activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive growth
- Communicate regularly with families regarding their child's progress and needs
- Ensure compliance with licensing regulations and program policies
- Observe and document children's behavior and developmental milestones
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in early childhood education
