An Automotive Retail Salesperson assists customers throughout the vehicle purchasing process, from initial contact to final delivery. This role focuses on building relationships, understanding customer needs, and delivering a transparent, compliant, and high-quality buying experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and assist in-person and online - Identify customer needs and recommend vehicles - Conduct product presentations and test drives - Explain features, warranties, and add-ons - Complete sales transactions and documentation - Follow California compliance laws (DMV, TILA, etc.) - Meet sales goals and maintain customer relationships - Collaborate with F&I and dealership staff
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent - Valid California driver’s license - Ability to obtain CA Vehicle Salesperson License - Sales or customer service experience preferred
