A growing contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role is responsible for managing scope, schedule, budget, subcontractors, and overall project execution while ensuring quality and client satisfaction.
The ideal candidate has strong experience running projects start to finish and can manage multiple moving parts in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage projects from preconstruction through final closeout
- Review contracts, bid documents, and scope requirements
- Develop and maintain project schedules and timelines
- Lead subcontractor buyout, coordination, and management
- Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and documentation
- Prepare and track project billing and schedule of values
- Monitor job costs, budgets, and overall financial performance
- Conduct site visits and coordinate with field teams
- Review project schedules and address delays or impacts
- Track milestones and ensure timely project delivery
- Maintain organized project documentation and records
- Manage project closeout including O&Ms, warranties, and as-builts
Requirements
- 5–10 years of experience as a Project Manager
- Experience managing projects from start to finish
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, scheduling, and cost control
- Ability to manage subcontractors and multiple projects
- Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, Excel, and similar tools
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred
