Job DescriptionSalary: Starting at $15/hour, depending on experience

The PC Imaging Technician prepares computers for deployment by performing initial assessments and executing standardized imaging procedures. Responsibilities include powering on devices, checking for basic functionality, applying asset tags, and ensuring devices are properly documented and ready for delivery. This is an entry-level role with growth potential into more technical positions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess incoming devices for basic functionality and visible damage.
• Execute imaging procedures using approved tools and command sets.
• Apply asset tags and ensure accurate documentation of each device.
• Organize and stage devices for deployment according to schedule.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment in the imaging area.
• Communicate any issues or discrepancies to the supervisor promptly.
• Track inventory and update asset management systems if needed.
• Assist with basic troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and deployment goals.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware and software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Familiarity with asset management systems or inventory tracking software desired.
• Ability to follow written instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift and move computer equipment weighing up to 25 pounds.

Work Environment

• This role is onsite and may require standing for extended periods and handling equipment.
• Must be able to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 25 pounds as part of routine job duties.
• Work is performed in both warehouse and office environments.
