Job DescriptionSalary:
Custom Software Systems, Inc. (CSS) isseeking an experienced Project Manager to coordinate projects across our IT Infrastructure teams.The ideal candidate will focus on running a large user migration project, which involves key stakeholders across several IT infrastructure and security teams, as well as IT infrastructure staff in another area of the organization.The ideal candidate will synchronize workstreams across this project, including Windows servers and desktop support, file storage, access management/credentialing, and end user device support, mapping out the projects lifecycle and serving as central project manager, providing regular status updates and communications to leadership.
Responsibilities
- Develop andmaintaina centralized project management framework for all project workstreams
- Coordinate cross-functional technical teams to ensure alignment on timelines and deliverables
- Create and manage project schedules, dependencies, and critical paths for infrastructure deployments
- Facilitate regular stand-ups, planning sessions, and retrospectives across technical teams
- Manage release cycles and deployment calendars across server, network, and cloud environments
- Identifyand mitigate risks, dependencies, and blockers affecting project timelines
- Establish standardized communication channels between technical teams and stakeholders
- Develop andmaintainproject documentation, status reports, and dashboards
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project status and updates.
- Work with clients to foster best business practices, theappropriate useof automation to provide efficient, cost-effective administrativesystems and a continual process improvement approach to theBoards automated administrative systems
- Articulates the programs strategy andobjectivesand assesses how it willimpactan organization.
- Delivers successful program outcomes.

Required Qualifications
- At least seven (7) years of experience as a program manager or program consultant.
- Experience with project management tools (Jira, GitLab, etc.)
- Experience with ITIL frameworks and IT Service Management
- Experience with change management processes in enterprise environments.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Act as the intermediary tofacilitatea clear understanding amongall parties about business assumptions and strategicobjectives.
- Work closely with the TS staff toestablish, revise, andmaintainstandards and procedures while implementing system projects.
- Assistwhere necessary with business process redesign to takeadvantage of the efficiencies offered by automation.
- Assistin researching, selecting, and implementing softwarepackages needed to meet FISMA standards.
- Research, recommend and write processes, procedures, andpolicies to meet FISMA standards and ITIL best practices.
- Defines and oversees a list of dependent projects needed to reachthe programs overall goals.
- Manages multiple program teams (and sometimes projectmanagers).
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies
- Experience coordinating technical teams across multiple IT domains
- Proven ability to manage complex infrastructure projects with interdependencies
- Strong communicationand stakeholder management skills.
- Basic understanding of IT infrastructure components (networking, servers, cloud services)
Certificates
PMI Certification and/or Agile program managementcertificationpreferred.
