Our client is seeking a skilled Residential MEP Technician to support new construction, remodeling, renovation, and addition projects. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with experience across multiple building systems, including electrical, plumbing, and basic HVAC/ductwork.
The successful candidate will perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work while collaborating with project teams to ensure high-quality project completion.

Responsibilities:
Installation & Construction
- Perform testing, troubleshooting, and system verification activities.
- Complete rough-in and finish work across multiple trades as required.
- Participate in new construction, renovation, remodeling, and addition projects.
- Install, maintain, and repair residential mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, drawings, and construction documents.
- Install and connect system components according to project specifications and applicable codes.
Project Support
- Coordinate work activities with project teams and subcontractors.
- Assist with punch-list completion and project closeout activities.
- Assist with project planning, material takeoffs, and equipment preparation.
- Monitor materials, tools, and equipment to maintain productivity and efficiency.
- Maintain project documentation including daily progress updates and completed work records.
Quality & Safety
- Maintain clean and organized work areas.
- Perform quality inspections on completed work.
- Follow all company safety requirements and industry best practices.
- Identify and resolve deficiencies in workmanship or system performance.
- Ensure compliance with applicable electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and building codes.
Qualifications (Must-Haves)
- All educational levels will be considered.
- Must possess and maintain personal trade tools.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Professional communication and customer service skills.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on residential construction experience.
- Working knowledge of applicable construction and safety standards.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical schematics.
- Experience working with electrical, plumbing, and basic HVAC or duct systems.
- Strong understanding of residential MEP installation methods and troubleshooting techniques.
Preferred Skills:
- Multi-trade construction experience.
- Experience with residential additions and tenant improvements.
- Knowledge of NEC, IPC, IMC, or other applicable industry codes.
- Experience performing light service and repair work across multiple building systems.
- Experience supporting custom homes, residential renovations, or remodeling projects.
