Senior Project Manager - Client-side

This fitness, wellness and lifestyle firm are expanding their footprint across the New York region, adding an additional five sports/gym/wellness facilities over the next 4+ years.

They are therefore looking for a Senior Project Manager to oversee new projects from construction documents through contractor procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout.

You'll own the competitive bid process, level proposals, negotiate with CM's, and make recommendations that balance cost, quality, schedule, and risk.

Once construction is underway, you'll act as the owner's representative, managing contractor performance, reviewing pay applications, negotiating change orders, monitoring schedules, and ensuring projects remain on track.

They are looking for someone with circa 8-15 years' experience, ideally with a combination of client-side and/or owner's rep, CM and engineering experience. There is a heavy MEP component to these projects, so someone with a mechanical engineering degree and/or experience in an MEP PM role would be preferred.

You will also have the temperament, people skills and attention to detail to successfully manage high-intensity projects from the client-side, ensuring contractors, design teams and the project's goals are aligned.
