Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving, material handling, order fulfillment, inventory organization, and general warehouse tasks. The ideal candidate has experience operating a sit-down forklift, is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and has a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks and verifying incoming materials.
- Operate a sit-down forklift to safely move and organize materials throughout the warehouse.
- Pick, stage, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or designated storage areas.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse and work area.
- Perform general warehouse and material handling duties as assigned.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following OSHA regulations, PPE requirements, and company policies.
Qualifications & Skills
- 1–2 years of warehouse experience, preferably in shipping and receiving.
- At least 1 year of sit-down forklift experience; certification is a plus.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to speak and read English.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team.
- Strong work ethics, reliability, and attention to safety.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. regularly; heavier materials may be moved with appropriate equipment.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and perform other physical warehouse activities throughout the workday.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- This position requires frequent standing, walking, reaching, bending, and handling materials.
- Employees will regularly lift and/or move items weighing 10–50 lbs. and may occasionally handle heavier materials using appropriate lifting equipment. Good vision, coordination, and the ability to safely operate warehouse equipment are required.
Schedule & Compensation
- 1st Shift: Monday-Friday | 7:00am – 5:00pm
- $18.00 - $22.00 per hour, based on experience
