We are seeking a dynamic and proactive IT Support Specialist to join our team. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact for all IT-related support across the organization, ensuring smooth operations and excellent service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to end users in person, over the phone, and via remote access.
- Deliver hands-on support
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software issues or escalate through defined processes.
- Install, configure, and maintain IT and shop floor hardware/software.
- Image and enroll PCs in accordance with corporate standards.
- Perform basic Active Directory administration (e.g., password resets).
- Train end-users on hardware and software usage.
- Set up and onboard new employee PCs.
- Manage Windows security settings and assist with cyber incident remediation.
- Purchase and provision IT supplies and equipment.
- Assist users with local data backups and recovery.
- Participate in IT audits and contribute to compliance efforts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve Industry processes.
- Ensure cybersecurity standards are met across Industry systems.
- Stay current with Industry trends and ensure infrastructure compliance.
- Provide “remote hands” support to global and regional Infrastructure and Network Engineers.
- Proven experience in IT support or a similar technical role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, and PC imaging.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
