Make a meaningful impact by supporting students as a dedicated School Psychologist in a dynamic educational environment near scenic Mount Lemmon, AZ. In this role, you’ll engage in a variety of essential functions, including:
- Conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations to assess student needs
- Preparing detailed, insightful reports to guide individualized education plans
- Participating in IEP meetings and providing expertise on interventions
- Collaborating closely with teachers, administrative staff, and other professionals
- Assisting in the development and implementation of Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
Desired background and qualifications:
- Active Arizona School Psychologist certification
- Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Prior experience working within a K-12 school setting strongly preferred
- Knowledge of best practices in psychological assessment and behavioral consultation
- Effective communication, organization, and report-writing skills
- Commitment to working collaboratively within a school-based team
Eligible candidates will receive competitive compensation, typically ranging from $55 to $63 per hour. In addition, healthcare benefits may be offered, along with potential support for housing and meals/incidentals during the assignment.
