About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our team. The Project Manager plans, executes, and finalizes projects within constraints like budget and time. They coordinate team members, manage resources, and communicate with stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Manage implemented project plans, and tracking of project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Coordinate and manage cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met.
- Serve as the IT Help Desk Lead
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with projects.
- Serve as the Quality Assurance Lead for service and project delivery
- Communicate project status, updates, and issues to stakeholders.
- Ensure projects are aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
- Report on project budgets and resources effectively.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management or related field plus 3 years of relevant experience.
- Active DoD Secret Clearance or equivalent.
- Experience in project management or in a similar role
- Experience managing tier 1&2 Help Desk.
- Experience implementing, monitoring, and reporting service metrics.
- Experience implementing, monitoring and reporting quality metrics for an enterprise IT team.
- Understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2, etc.).
- Experience in enterprise IT
