Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated, vigilant Armed Security Professional to join our team.
The Armed Security Professional will be responsible for patrolling premises, monitoring property access, investigating suspicious behavior, and enforcing site rules while complying with company policies.
This is a night watch &/or day watch position Monday to Sunday.
The ideal candidates should have strong observation skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, well-conditioned, and have a firm grasp of DPSST regulations.
Prior experience as military, law enforcement, a security professional or a related field would be advantageous.
Responsibilities:
- Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence
- Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles and/or people in the property
- Investigate suspicious activities and manage building exterior
- Handle emergency situations efficiently and report them to relevant authorities
- Observe and check on security systems
- Perform first aid or CPR when required
- Enforce site rules, company policies and state laws on the property
- Submit reports of daily activities and irregularities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an armed security professional or relevant position
- Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety
- Familiar with report writing
- Customer Service oriented / background
- Excellent surveillance and observation skills
- Proficient in first aid, de-escalation and self-defense
Required Qualifications:
- High School diploma is required
- Trained in weapon handling and emergency response
- Certified through DPSST as an Unarmed/Armed Security Professional
