This position exists to strengthen engineering capability through disciplined execution, continuous improvement, and effective use of technology within a 10 + years experience in plastics industry environment.

Key responsibilities include planning and controlling engineering projects; reviewing designs for compliance; approving design changes, specifications, and drawing releases; assigning engineering resources across project phases; coordinating schedules, technical development, testing, and issue resolution; preparing interim and closeout reports; estimating part costs and entering data into MRP; scheduling mold sampling and part layouts for customer approval; supporting quoting with Sales; managing budgets; and coaching and developing engineering staff.

Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline
- 10 + years experience in plastics industry

You will spend focused time evaluating drawings, specifications, and change documentation, then align stakeholders on timing and technical risk. Midday often includes cross-functional touchpoints—engineering, production, quality, and sales—to maintain clear communication and keep commitments visible.
