Position Summary
Pacific Tech Communications Inc. (PTC) is seeking a qualified Fiber Technician (Aerial / Underground) to support fiber optic and telecommunications construction projects. This position plays a key role in safe, compliant, and production-driven execution of OSP and ISP infrastructure builds.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute assigned construction and installation tasks per engineered specifications
- Operate tools and equipment safely and efficientlyMaintain daily production and safety reporting
- Follow OSHA, DOT, and company safety standards
- Coordinate with crew members and supervisors to meet production goals
Required Qualifications
- Relevant experience in telecommunications or construction field operations
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to lift 50–75 lbs (role dependent)
- Valid driver’s license
- Preferred Qualifications
- CDL preferred
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
- Experience in fiber optic construction environments
Physical Requirements
- Extended standing, lifting, and bending
- Ability to work at heights (if applicable to role)
- Exposure to outdoor and high-traffic environments
