Job DescriptionJob Summary: Flat Laster Tube Operator:We are seeking a dedicated Flat Laser Tube Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC laser cutting equipment to produce precise components according to specifications. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude, proficiency in blueprint reading, and experience with various fabrication tools. Key Responsibilities: Flat Laster Tube Operator:

  • Set up and operate CNC laser cutting machines with precision, ensuring adherence to project specifications
  • Read and interpret detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) standards
  • Perform routine maintenance and calibration of laser equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and materials for each job
  • Conduct quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions
  • Maintain accurate production records and report any machine issues or discrepancies promptly
  • Assist in material handling using forklifts or cranes as needed to load or unload sheet metal and fabricated parts
  • Support fabrication processes such as welding, plasma cutting, or mechanical assembly when required
  • Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a safe working environment


Experience: Flat Laster Tube Operator:

  • Prior experience operating CNC laser cutting machinery or similar manufacturing equipment preferred
  • Knowledge of CNC programming and the ability to make minor adjustments as necessary
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes including plasma cutting, electrical discharge machining (EDM), stamping presses, CNC milling machines, and CNC lathes
  • Mechanical knowledge related to tooling setup, fabrication techniques, and machinery maintenance
  • Experience reading complex blueprints and technical drawings accurately
  • Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality control procedures
  • Hands-on experience with hand tools, sheet metal fabrication, assembly, and quality inspection instruments such as micrometers and calipers
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment while adhering to safety standards
