Electrical Project Manager
Position Summary
The Electrical Project Manager plans, directs, and delivers the electrical scope for commercial/industrial projects in Indiana. The PM leads preconstruction through closeout—owning schedule, budget, quality, and safety—while coordinating field teams, vendors, and customers.
Key Responsibilities
Build and manage project schedules, budgets, and work plans; track percent complete, costs, and cash flow.
Lead submittals, RFIs, change orders, procurement, and material logistics.
Coordinate with Superintendents/Foremen to plan manpower, sequence work, and resolve field issues.
Interpret drawings/specifications; drive constructability, value engineering, and code compliance.
Maintain client, GC, and trade-partner relationships; lead progress meetings and site walks.
Ensure QA/QC, commissioning, and punch-list completion; manage closeout documentation.
Monitor risk and safety performance; implement corrective actions.
Required Skills
Prior field experience as an electrician preferred.
Experience managing electrical projects in a commercial setting.
Physical Demands
Occasional site visits. Ability to climb, kneel, and lift up to 25 lbs., valid driver’s license.
