Location: Oakes Kia - North Kansas City, MO
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday with a rotating Saturday schedule
Compensation:$60,000–$120,000 annually (base plus commision).
About the Role
As a Service Advisor, you’ll be at the forefront of the customer experience, working directly with clients and technicians to ensure a smooth and efficient service process. You will manage repair orders, communicate vehicle needs clearly, and help drive both customer satisfaction and departmental performance. What You’ll Do
-
Greet customers and assist with service needs in a professional and timely manner

Schedule appointments, write repair orders, and process quotes and invoices

Accurately document customer concerns and communicate them to technicians

Provide estimates for service and repairs, including cost and timing

Ensure customer approval for all recommended work

Maintain communication with customers throughout the service process

Coordinate with technicians and parts departments to meet service timelines

Promote and upsell services, parts, and accessories when appropriate

Review completed work with customers and ensure satisfaction

Follow up with customers to build long-term relationships
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone with strong communication skills who can build trust with customers and clearly explain technical information in a way that’s easy to understand. The right candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and brings a positive, team-first mindset to their work. They should also have strong follow-up and follow-through, and feel comfortable working in a performance-driven environment.
Requirements

Valid driver’s license with a clean or acceptable driving record

Ability to pass a standard background check

Strong reliability and consistent attendance

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment

Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new systems

Prior experience as a Service Advisor or Service Writer preferred
