Software Developer

Essential Functions:

1. Perform necessary tasks to ensure a successful project
1. Accurately define project scope using Project Proposal, Customer Purchase Order, Customer Specifications, and Contract Review.
2. Develop the project by performing one or a combination of the following tasks:
   1. Full Stack Web Development
      1. Javascript
      2. React Framework
      3. ASPX
      4. VB.NET Programming
      5. C# Programming
      6. Database Knowledge
         1. SQL
      7. Utilize Git/Azure DevOps Version Control Systems
      8. In-plant testing with PLC's to simulate production environment.
      9. Networking and Communications
3. Perform Project Startup at customer facility using a project check-off sheet.
   1. May include customer training on software

1. Research and Development
1. Test new products to determine the feasibility of incorporating the product into current software systems.
2. Provide expertise in determining the best, most profitable direction for the current software products.
2. Assist in the Sales and Growth of the AIM System.
1. Assist in the development of demonstration literature and programs to facilitate product sales.
2. Assist in sales demonstrations to customers as necessary.
3. Perform business plan tasks as assigned by the Department Manager.
3. Responsible for the maintenance and support of existing AIM systems.
4. Support and maintain the corporate intranet site and any software developed internally and utilized by Automatic Feed Company personnel.

Requirements:

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Engineering
• 3-5 years of experience
• Willingness to travel when needed; roughly 30 nights annually; usually short trips

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms.

The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Specific visual abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
