Robert Half is looking for a Litigation Paralegal to join a growing firm in Chicago, Illinois. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with attorneys on all phases of personal injury cases, from initial claims to trial proceedings. Responsibilities:
• Facilitate communication with clients, insurance adjusters, opposing counsel, and medical professionals.
• Organize and maintain attorney calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate itineraries.
• Oversee firm databases and case files to ensure accuracy and up-to-date information.
• Draft, edit, and manage legal documents, correspondence, and filings.
• Request and track medical records, bills, police reports, and other case-related documents.
• File legal documents electronically and in paper format for Cook County, surrounding counties, and Federal courts.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in personal injury law, whether on the Plaintiff or Defense side.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.
• Proficiency in oral and written communication.
• Capability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with case management software and legal billing functions.
• Strong knowledge of calendar management and claim administration processes.
• Experience with briefing and other personal injury law procedures.
