Our client, an industry leader in agricultural production, is seeking a dedicated and motivated Production Technician to join their team. As a Production Technician, you will be an essential part of the operations supporting seasonal activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, strong teamwork, adaptability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Production Technician
Location: Tipton, IN
Pay Range: Starting at $19.50 per hour with shift differentials available
Shift: Multiple shifts available, including day, evening, and overnight shifts
What's the Job?
- Receive and process trucks hauling crop from the field for weighing and unloading
- Complete a wide range of harvest activities such as husk and sort operations
- Operate drying equipment to ensure crop quality and safety standards are met
- Support seed inventory management, packaging, and storage processes
- Assist with cleaning, maintenance, and warehousing tasks to ensure smooth operations
What's Needed?
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
- Customer service skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members
- Basic math skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 60 pounds and work on uneven surfaces
