Job DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled Attorney to join our team in Ewing, New Jersey, on a Contract to permanent employment basis. In this role, you will provide legal expertise across various domains, including technology contracts, corporate agreements, and live event support. The ideal candidate will bring a high level of proficiency in contract drafting and redlining, ensuring precision and efficiency in all legal documentation.
Responsibilities:
• Draft and review technology contracts, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
• Provide legal support for key account management agreements, facilitating smooth business operations.
• Handle contracts related to live events, including registration and speaker agreements.
• Support education and training initiatives by managing associated contractual needs.
• Utilize electronic signature tools and other technology platforms to streamline agreement administration.
• Conduct redlining and drafting assessments to maintain high standards of document quality.
• Collaborate in-office at least two to three days per week to ensure effective communication and teamwork.
• Offer legal guidance on corporate matters, leveraging expertise to address complex issues efficiently.
• Manage discovery processes and oversee civil litigation matters as needed.
• Ensure all legal processes align with regulatory requirements and organizational goals.• At least 3-5 years of experience in a corporate counsel role.
• Active bar admission in New Jersey preferred; candidates barred in Pennsylvania or New York will also be considered.
• Demonstrated expertise in drafting and redlining legal documents.
• Strong knowledge of technology contracts and corporate agreements.
• Familiarity with live event-related contracts, including registration and speaker agreements.
• Proficiency in using electronic signature tools and technology for contract administration.
• Ability to pass a redlining and drafting assessment prior to starting the position.
• Civil litigation experience, including discovery and briefing, is highly desirable.
