About Worldly Partners: Worldly Partners studies and invests in businesses that we believe will compound capital over decades. Our detailed work focuses on understanding the characteristics of companies that produce very long-term returns and the people who build them.


Job Overview: This role involves working closely with the founder of Worldly Partners to transform complex datasets into actionable insights with the goal of driving very long-term performance and risk management.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze large, complex financial datasets (market data, alternative data, fundamentals) to identify trends, anomalies, and investment opportunities
  • Collaborate with investment teams to define data needs and translate them into analytical solutions
  • Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover predictive signals and inefficiencies in markets
  • Build and maintain data pipelines for sourcing, cleaning, and validating structured and unstructured data
  • Monitor data quality and integrity across multiple sources
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations of data for portfolio monitoring
  • Automate recurring data processes to improve efficiency and scalability
  • Stay current with new data sources, tools, and technologies relevant to financial markets
  • In person data collection


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field
  • 2 – 10+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in finance, asset management, or trading environments
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar)
  • Strong programming skills in Python or SQL, with Java experience preferred
  • Familiarity with machine learning techniques and model validation practices
  • Solid understanding of financial markets, instruments, and investment concepts
  • Experience working with time-series data and large datasets
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 40%


Working Hours:

  • 40 hours per week on site in Needham, MA
  • Occasional evening or weekend hours may be required depending on business needs
  • Travel required


Compensation:

  • $185,000-$225,000
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance 100% employer-paid
