Job Description

The QA analyst is responsible for the manual testing phase of the production process to ensure that final products meet company standards. Duties include identifying whether products are functional, reliable, and meet the end user's expectations. The analyst will work with the development team to test new requirements or enhancements to existing systems. They test usability and functionality in test builds prior to release to ensure system functionality and compliance with requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design and implement testing plans for products.
  • Identify procedures and scenarios for the quality control of products and services.
  • Process product reviews and inform the development team of defects and errors.
  • Communicate quantitative and qualitative findings from test results to the development team.
  • Ensure that the final product satisfies the product requirements and meet end-user expectations.
  • Identify areas for improvement to enhance the product's efficiency.
  • Participates in SCRUM meetings, sharing feedback from test cases to development team.
  • Participates in systems integration testing to ensure that new functionality does not affect prior functionality.

Additional Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in quality assurance
  • Experience in the insurance field is strongly preferred

· Strong backend testing writing SQL queries

· Experience in testing C# Applications ,Web services , XML ,API

· Should be able to produce complex edge cases and corner cases.

· Should be able to handle multiple projects at the same time.

  • Experience with DevOps and SCRUM environment
  • Excellent organizational skills; able to work on multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to compile and organize information from scratch and synthesize into test cases
  • Test systems and/or systems changes for functionality and accuracy.
  • High standard of ethics and teamwork with management, peers and agents.
